dorm pets®

As the proud mum of 3 college graduates, I realized that everyone needs a pet, even when limited to dorm life or small flats.  Thus was born our dorm pets ®.  We chose a hedgehog as our inaugural pet because of the years we lived in Scotland.  During that time, one of the TV shows the girls watched was Blue Peter, a travel/nature show geared for kids.  Blue Peter had an ongoing campaign to "Save the Hedgehogs".  Apparently, these little guys often fell into the cattle grates that crossed the roads all over the U.K.  So to remember our friends in Scotland, and our friend Blue Peter, the now retired Hamish the Hedgehod was born.   Gregor MacGililvary and Fiona Rowen, the next generation of the dorm pet ® hedgehogs soon followed.

Since we began, we have added red foxes, Cassie and Corneilus and the penguins, Orion and Ophelia.  All of the numbered dorm pets ® are made exclusively for Class Act Imports in extremely small quantities, they are packaged in their own habitat, come with care and feeding instructions.
Each of the pets made of glass, hand crafted in Russia and Czech Republic.
